“Sharon is one of the few riders who is in harmony with each horse she sits on. She brings talent, dedication and a true love for the horse to the sport.”
Mary Flood

The Last Frontier Farm is a comprehensive combined training facility operated by International Event rider Sharon White. Located between the Allegheny and Blue Ridge Mountains in West Virginia, the farm is twenty minutes from Leesburg, VA, thirty-five minutes from Middleburg, VA, and just one hour from Washington, D.C. Its forty acres of rolling pasture, beautiful and spacious indoor and outdoor arenas, newly-constructed cross country jumps, show quality jumper course, and stabling for thirty horses make it an ideal place for quality event horses and dedicated riders of all levels.

The name of the farm comes from the Alaskan state slogan – The Last Frontier – which is where Sharon grew up. The farm is a partnership between Sharon and her parents George and Carol White. Sharon takes great inspiration from her Mom, who, in turn, takes great inspiration from Sharon and her horses, most notably Ready About, Sharon’s first self made four-star horse.

“Sharon is an exceptional, coach, mentor, and horse woman. During the past few years, Sharon has helped me grow from a preliminary rider to an excelling student preparing for my first advanced horse trail. My horses and I have enjoyed much success thanks to Sharon’s coaching and training techniques. Sharon has helped expand my knowledge and training skill set, allowing me to become efficient and effective with my own horses. I have partnered with Sharon when shopping for horses, preparing for three day events, and organizing clinics. Sharon is always patient and offers sound confident advice through her vast knowledge and experience. My continued work with Sharon is allowing me to realize my goals as an equestrian and I look forward to the success that lies ahead.”
